Who I am
I have spent many a year working in the social housing sector with registered providers (Housing Associations), local authorities and 3rd sector charities, with experiences in operational, business development and property development roles, all at a senior level.
I have 10 years Executive Director level experience in a variety of organisations working closely with non-executive board members and trustees from smaller housing providers with 1,200 units to large national providers with 235,000 units in management.
Key experiences include:
- Extensive experience working with non-exec board members, executive management teams and senior stakeholders.
- Development and implementation of asset management strategies.
- Proven track record of growth, having delivered c.6000 properties with a development cost of £850m.
- Long term strategic partnerships with social housing providers, local authorities and national development companies to deliver social housing.
- Lead commercial officer responsible for property acquisition, lease terms and investment performance & disposals.
- Creation and inception of business development & growth strategies.
- Development and implementation of housing management strategy and services.
- Establishment of internal DLO service (repairs & maintenance team)
- Extensive experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams over a dispersed geographical area.
